WELLINGTON, NEW SOUTH WALES – Australian Woman Wins $4.2 Million in Saturday Lotto Draw A Wellington woman has won a staggering $4.2 million in the Saturday Lotto draw, crediting a mysterious Facebook post for her good fortune.
The Central Western Slopes resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4593, drawn on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Each division one winning entry received a whopping `4,285,714.29`.
The winner, a long-time player who has been playing since she was 18, was overwhelmed with emotion upon receiving the news.
She plans to use her winnings to pay off her house and car, leaving her completely debt-free.
The winning 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased from Wellington Newsagency, located at `118 Percy Street`, Wellington.
The newsagency owner, Patrick Slack-Smith, said his outlet was no stranger to division one wins, having sold at least nine division one winning tickets over the past 30 years.
In addition to the Wellington winner, there were six other division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4593 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria, and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 251 so far in 2025.
