In a major drug bust, New South Wales Police have seized over $1 million worth of cocaine, cash, and other illegal drugs, leading to the arrest of two men who are set to appear in court today.
The operation, dubbed Strike Force Whitecourt, was established in April to target the supply of cocaine, ketamine, and MDMA in the Murray River Police District.
Yesterday, police executed two search warrants in Howlong and Wodonga, Victoria, resulting in the seizure of five kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of over $1 million, as well as MDMA valued at $30,000 and ketamine worth $15,000.
The police also confiscated $50,000 in cash, two vehicles, and $100,000 worth of goods alleged to be proceeds of crime.
The two men, aged 29 and 31, have been charged with over 30 offences, including the supply of a commercial quantity of drugs.
Authorities have issued an appeal for public assistance in providing any information related to the case.
