Prince Harry Denies Allegations of Physical Fight with Prince Andrew A spokesperson for Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, has categorically denied claims that he was involved in a physical altercation with his uncle, Prince Andrew, following allegations made in a new book.
The book, titled “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” alleges that the two princes engaged in a heated argument at a family gathering in 2013, which escalated into a physical fight.
The book claims that Prince Andrew made comments about Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wife, which led to the altercation.
However, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex has refuted these allegations, stating, “I can confirm neither of those things are true.
Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”
The denial comes amid an ongoing feud between Prince Harry and certain members of the royal family, including his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William.
The estrangement began in 2020 when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped away from their duties as senior members of the royal family and relocated to Montecito, California.
The publication of Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, has further strained relationships within the royal family.
The new book’s allegations have also drawn attention to Prince Andrew’s documented relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
In 2019, Prince Andrew was accused of sexual abuse and sex trafficking by Virginia Giuffre, who has since passed away.
Prince Andrew has denied any wrongdoing, but his accuser’s former attorney, David Boies, has called for the prince to take responsibility for his actions and apologize.
