Brisbane Real Estate Agent Dies in Lawnmower Incident
Ty Babbidge, 55, was killed when he became trapped under a ride-on mower at a private property on Grandview Road at Pullenvale.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 7:30pm, but unfortunately, Mr Babbidge could not be saved.
A Beloved Member of the Community
Mr Babbidge’s family described him as a “beloved” husband, father, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His colleague of over a decade, Kel Goesch, remembered him as “one of the most generous, happy and genuine people on this planet” who was passionate about his family and cared deeply for his community.
Many people have taken to social media to express their admiration and condolences for Mr Babbidge, with one person describing him as an “absolute top tier bloke” who was “the most generous kind-hearted fella I’ve ever met.”
Investigation Underway
Police have stated that the incident is non-suspicious and the forensic crash unit is preparing a report for the coroner.
The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are still unknown.
