Husband Charged with Murder of Beloved Brisbane Nurse
A 52-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his wife, Carra Samantha Luke, a 48-year-old nurse found dead in their Taigum home in Brisbane’s north on Saturday.
Shane Scheikowski, the husband, was charged with one count of murder (domestic violence offence) and one count of entering a dwelling with intent.
He is set to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

Carra Samantha Luke was a devoted nurse who had worked at the Nundah Doctors Surgery in Wavell Heights for 20 years.
Her colleagues described her as “the heart and soul of the practice” in a heartfelt tribute.
Scheikowski, a member of a Brisbane car club and speciality dog breed enthusiast, had known Ms Luke for almost two decades.
