- Two men, aged 26 and 25, charged with murder over fatal shooting in Derrimut, Melbourne’s west
- Same duo allegedly involved in second fatal shooting in Ivanhoe, Melbourne’s north-east, just two days earlier
- 26-year-old also charged with attempted murder over stabbing in Wyndham Vale, south-west Melbourne
**Victoria Police** have launched a massive investigation into a shocking crime spree that has left Melbourne reeling. Two men, a 26-year-old from **Cranbourne** and a 25-year-old from **Narre Warren**, have been charged with murder over the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man in **Derrimut** last Thursday.
In a chilling development, it’s alleged the same pair were involved in another shooting just two days earlier in **Ivanhoe**, where a 27-year-old man’s body was found in the front yard of a home. The Cranbourne man had previously been charged with murder in relation to that shooting, while the Narre Warren man was charged with being an accessory to murder.
But that’s not all – the 26-year-old has also been charged with attempted murder over a stabbing in **Wyndham Vale** on the same day as the Derrimut shooting. A police pursuit on Sunday led to the pair’s arrest, and they were questioned over the incidents, as well as an attempted carjacking in **South Yarra**.
The investigation remains ongoing, with **Victoria Police** urging anyone with information to come forward. The two men have been remanded in custody and will appear before the **Melbourne Magistrates’ Court** at a later date.
“We are working tirelessly to piece together the events surrounding these shocking crimes,” said a **Victoria Police** spokesperson. “We urge anyone with information to contact **Crime Stoppers** and help us bring justice to the victims and their families.”
The community is still reeling from the news, with many residents expressing shock and concern over the brazen crime spree. “It’s just terrifying to think that these men were allegedly involved in not one, but two fatal shootings,” said one local resident. “We need to feel safe in our own streets.”
As the investigation continues, **Victoria Police** are urging anyone with information to come forward and help bring justice to the victims and their families.
