Bloody Carnage in Melbourne’s Southeast: Man, 36, Dies After Stabbing and Horror Crash

In a shocking incident that has left a community reeling, a 36-year-old man has died after being stabbed and then involved in a horror car crash in Melbourne’s southeast.
The drama unfolded at approximately 3:30 pm on Monday when the victim’s car collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Clyde-Five Ways Rd and Railways Rds in Clyde.
Emergency services rushed to the scene to find the 36-year-old with multiple stab wounds, and he was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Tragically, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Two other men, aged 33 and 36, who were in the car with the victim when it crashed, were also injured in the incident. The 28-year-old female driver of the other car involved in the crash was taken to hospital for assessment.
According to police, the group was involved in an earlier alleged altercation at a home on Carrera Cres in Clyde, where the 36-year-old victim is believed to have been stabbed. He then left the scene in the car with the two other men.
In a dramatic twist, just over an hour after the crash, police arrested a 27-year-old man on Carrera Cres. He remains in custody and is being interviewed by detectives.
Police have urged anyone with information to come forward, as the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing.
