A couple of bodies were found in Australia, and a police officer was charged with killing them.
Beaumont Lamarre-Condon was accused of killing his former boyfriend, Jesse Baird, and Luke Davies.
Karen Webb, the commissioner of the NSW Police, said on Tuesday that they were confident that the two missing individuals were located.
According to Webb, Lamarre-Condon provided authorities with information that helped them find the bodies.
The remains were found in two surf bags on a property in Bungonia, and the crime scene investigators are currently at the location looking into the incident.
The family members of the missing individuals were relieved to hear that their loved ones were found.
They were last seen on February 19 in Sydney.
Fears for their safety grew after their bloodied possessions were discovered in a skip container in the city of Cronulla.
According to police, a search of Baird’s home led to the discovery of blood, a cartridge case, and a projectile. A firearm that was similar to that of Lamarre-Condon also was recovered. He was then charged with two counts of murder.
