Celebrity chef Jock Zonfrillo was found dead in a Melbourne, Australia, hotel room last April.
His cause of death has been shrouded in mystery.
The 46-year- old was discovered unresponsive at around 2 am at the Zagame’s House hotel.
Lauren, Zonfrillo’s wife, reportedly called the police to report her husband’s missing calls.
Although the cause of death was not disclosed at the time, the police did not find any signs of illicit substances in his possession.
However, almost a month after his death, the Daily Mail reported that the coroner is still investigating his sudden death.
According to the Daily Mail Australia, the coroner’s office is still investigating the cause of Zonfrillo’s death. His wife, Lauren, continues to keep his memory alive by sharing photos from their Instagram account.
She also posted a beautiful picture of herself and the MasterChef judge Andy Cook.
One year ago, Lauren posted a picture of her and Zonfrillo on Instagram, captioning it, “Last night, before we went to Rome, we had a saké pairing.”
She then went on to say that these are the worst photos she ever took, but she treasures them. The season 15 premiere of “Hell’s Kitchen” was supposed to be shown the day after Zonfrillo’ death, but Network 10 decided to delay it to allow his family to approve.
The “MasterChef” season 15 premiere, which aired a week after Zonfrillo’s death, was met with tears from Australian viewers. They were also left in awe of the talented chef and his passion for cooking. One of the many people who commented on the show said that this season will be a hard watch.
