A man was charged with murder on Wednesday in connection to the case of Samantha Murphy.
The man, who was arrested by police on Wednesday morning, will appear in court on Thursday afternoon.
The police said they are yet to recover the body of the missing teenager.
The investigation into her disappearance has been ongoing since February.

On February 4, 2019, Samantha Murphy, who was 51 years old at that time, left her Eureka St home in Ballarat East to go for a run.
She was last seen wearing a smartwatch and carrying her phone. Approximately an hour after she left her home, police conducted a search in the Mount Clear area.
They did not find traces of her phone or watch. It is believed that she is no longer alive.
