A video that appeared to show Bishop Mar Mari getting stabbed during a service in Sydney has been circulating online.
The incident occurred as he delivered his sermon in Wakeley.
In the footage, which shows a man walking towards the bishop, the bishop can be seen looking at him before he makes a stabbing motion at his neck and face.
The bishop fell to the ground and the crowd began to scream as others tried to help him.
The footage was reportedly taken from a livestream, and the NSW Police is expected to provide a statement soon.
