The father of the woman who was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend said he was angry after learning that the suspect was on bail.
Twenty-eight-year-old Molly Ticehurst was found dead at her Forbes home in NSW this morning.
Her father said she was loved by many.
According to Mr Ticehurst, Molly was a beautiful person. Billings was apprehended this morning at Fifield, around 100 kilometers from Forbes.
He has been charged with murder and was on bail for various offences.
Mr Ticehurst is angry that Billings was on bail even though he had been issued an apprehended violence order against him.
Somebody has to be held accountable. Mr Tinehurst said if the police had kept Billings in custody, the family would not have been talking about this.
Detective Inspector Jason said that the crime scene was brutal.
My thoughts are with the family of Molly Ticehurst. Detective Inspector Jason, who has been in the police for 34 years, said that it was a brutal attack.
Ticehurst’s child was not at home when the body was found. The child was safe, and the police have apprehended the suspect.
Anyone who captured footage of Young Street in Fifield or Forbes from around 2 am today should contact the police.
Billings was refused bail and will appear in court in Orange.
