The police are looking for a man who they believe attacked and stabbed a woman outside a gym in Sydney’s inner south on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, who was 39 years old, was reportedly stabbed by a man who is believed to be in his 40s.
According to the police, they are still looking for the suspect, who fled the area after the incident.
The victim was taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She suffered multiple injuries, such as neck, back, and head.
A witness, who identified herself as Claire, told the ABC that she was about to go to the gym when she heard a scream and saw a man on top of the victim.
She said it appeared as if the man was trying to rob the woman or attacking her.
She then saw another man intervene and help the victim during the attack.
The man then left the area in a car.
Investigators were seen examining vehicles in the area on Wednesday afternoon.
