A teenage girl was killed after she got out of her van on a Western Australia highway.
According to the police, she was hit by a car while she was on Indian Ocean Drive in Jurien Bay at around 5.40 am on Sunday.
The vehicle continued to drive north.
The police noted that major crash investigators are looking into the incident and are appealing for witnesses.
Jurien Bay is around two hours away from Perth.
