Actress Holly Valance made headlines recently after she hosted a fundraiser for Donald Trump, who was the former US president.
The event, which was held for a convicted felon, raised over $2 million for Trump’s presidential campaign.
According to Nigel Farage, who is a friend of Valance, the event was a “Holly party.”
Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., and his fiancée, Kimberly, were the guests of the event, which was described as a dinner and reception. Valance, who previously worked in the entertainment industry, retired from her career after she and Nick Candy, a property developer, got married in 2012.
She then supported right-wing politicians, such as Mr. Farage.
As a paid-up member of Mr. Farage’s Reform party, which was established in 2018, Valance was able to use its slogan, which is “Make Britain Great Again.”
One of the party’s slogans is “We want our country back.”
The actress previously stated that she was a conservative political figure.
It’s widely believed that Valance’s controversial views have caused some friction within her family.
Her outspoken opinions have caused her sister, Olympia, to distance herself from her sibling.
During a radio interview last month, she stated that her sister and she have very distinct political opinions.
