The people of Western Australia are mourning the loss of three of their friends who were killed after their car crashed into a light fixture on June 10.

The car, which was carrying five men, was traveling on the Wallwork Rd at the time of the accident.

It happened around 9.20 p.m. that evening.

The three men, identified as Brandon Krakouer (24), Jermayne Smith (25) and Harley Corbett (22), died following the accident.

Corbett was rushed to a hospital after the car he was riding in hit a pole. His life support was cut off on Sunday.

Krakouer had been in critical condition for over a week prior to his death.

The three men were in the rear of the car. The driver and another passenger, who is a 32-year-old man, were taken to the Hedland Health Campus for treatment.

Since the accident, the people of Western Australia have shown their support for the victims by sharing their condolences on social media.

The football club of Corbett, known as Peel Thunder FC, released a statement on its Facebook page to share its condolences.

It stated that he played for Perth Colts during the 2020 season and also made four appearances for the reserves in 2023.

The club noted that he will be greatly missed.

The Belmont Bombers, the football team of Smith, released a statement to share its condolences.

It noted that the community will remember the talented athlete for his smile and his infectious personality.

The club also offered its condolences to his family and friends.

The football team of the Belmont Bombers also wore black armbands during its games against the Kwinana FC to honor the memory of Krakouer.

His sister, Brittany, posted several tributes on her Facebook page.

One of the pictures showed a white cross that was surrounded by flowers.

In her post, she stated that people will forget about her brothers in a month or so.

It’s believed that the police did not charge anyone in connection with the crash.
