According to reports, she suffered a heart attack while she was in the Mediterranean island.
A representative of the Malta police stated that a 36-year-old Tunisian woman died on the island on June 17.
They did not provide additional details about the cause of her death and referred to ongoing investigations.
Farah, who was an architect based in Tunisia, had a following of over a million followers on Instagram.
She frequently posted pictures of her various outfits.
One of her most recent posts featured a white and red dress that she had taken in Mykonos.
In her Instagram post, the caption stated that the flowers were red and the violets were blue.
