Over the course of 30 years, Ryan Moloney has played the role of Toadfish on Neighbours. He announced his departure from the soap opera in a video posted to the Instagram account of the show.

He referred to himself as the character he played, and he said that he might be the next Jim Robinson.

In the video, Moloney said that he might be following in the footsteps of Harold Bishop and continue to appear in the show over the years.

He also revealed that he’s been training as a director.

He stated that he recently finished filming an episode of his first Neighbours.

He thanked the fans for supporting him and his character, Toadie, for over three decades.

He also stated that he will miss Erinsborough, but he assured them that they will not miss what’s happening on Ramsay Street.

The fans reacted to the news of his departure by sharing their emotions.

One of them stated that they hope that Toadie will return to Erinsborough.

Moloney first appeared in the soap opera as a teen in 1995.

He stayed with the program until it was eventually axed in 2022.
