The racing community is in mourning following the death of Lizzy Musi. She was 33 years old and had been battling breast cancer.

She was a professional drag racer who became known for her work on the television show “Street Outlaws.”

Her father Pat posted a statement regarding her death.

In his statement, Pat said that his daughter was surrounded by her family when she died at around 11:25 pm.

He thanked everyone for their support during her illness. The racing community also paid tribute to Musi through social media.

They called her a beloved member of the organization and said they extend their condolences to her family.

Musi had been a professional drag racer for a long time.

She became known for her performance in 2014 when she won the Pro Nitrous category at a national event held at the Virginia Motorsports Park.

In 2019, Musi became the first female driver to ever win an event and also the first driver in history to capture three consecutive victories on “Street Outlaws: No Preparatory Kings.”

She also appeared in various spin-offs of the show, such as “Locals Only,” “Gone Girl,” and “Fastest in America.”

In April 2019, Musi revealed her breast cancer diagnosis on Instagram. She noted that she was recently diagnosed with a triple negative stage four cancer.

She said that her cancer had moved to her liver. In her post, she thanked her fans for their support.

Last year, she shared a picture of herself while she was undergoing treatment for an illness that caused severe hair loss.

Her fans were devastated by her death. They posted tributes to her on Instagram. The post was her last one.
