Samantha Armytage, the host of the TV series Farmer Wants A Wife, underwent hip replacement surgery earlier this year.
She took to Instagram to share a series of images from her recovery. The 42-year-old stated that she was feeling good and was excited about her new hip.
She stated that she had a total hip replacement operation a few weeks ago.
She noted that her old hip had started to deteriorate due to her active childhood and a skiing accident.
The cartilage in her hip had been torn out, which then led to severe osteoarthritis.
In her post, the 47-year-old said that she is now on the road to recovery and that she is very proud of how her body has responded to her new hip.
She also thanked the nurses at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital for their efforts and said that she no longer has to watch herself limp around in pain.
