In New Zealand, hundreds of cats were killed during a competition that was criticized by animal rights groups.

The organizer of the event, Mat Bailey, said it was necessary to control the population of feral cats in order to prevent them from spreading diseases and harming native wildlife.

The event, which took place in North Canterbury, featured a cash prize for the winner and a prize for the biggest cat caught.

During the competition, over 370 cats were killed. One hunter was able to catch 65 moggies, and the heaviest cat he caught weighed 6.7 kilograms.

Some of the photos posted on the event’s social media pages showed dead cats that were piled up in a large crate.

It has been estimated that there are around two million cats in New Zealand.

These animals are known to be ferocious predators that eat various animals, such as lizards, birds, and rabbits.

Bailey referred to these cats as the devil on methamphetamine.

According to Bailey, the cats are crazy and they would try to attack you if you reach near their cage.

The competition requires that the cats be captured in boxes that are placed at least 10 kilometers away from residential areas.
