Former child actor Benji Gregory, who played Brian Tanner in the American sitcom ALF, died on June 13 in Arizona. According to his sister Rebecca, Gregory was found dead in a car in a Chase Bank lot. The actor was 46 years old.

According to TMZ, his service dog Hans was found inside the vehicle.

The cause of death is still under investigation. The Maricopa County medical examiner’s office is reportedly looking into the matter.

Rebecca told the website that her brother might have died of a heatstroke due to his condition, which included bipolar disorder and depression.

Although details about his personal life are still unclear, it’s widely believed that he started his career as an actor when he was eight years old.

After ALF ended in 1990, he went on to appear in other TV shows such as The Twilight Zone and Pound Puppies.

In 2003, he joined the US Navy.

He then graduated in the field of oceanography and meteorology.

He was discharged in 2005 due to medical issues.

His most notable performance was in the 1990 television series ALF, which revolved around the lives of the middle-class Tanners.
