McDonald’s has announced that it is revamping its Quarter Pounder burger range. Two new variants will be available starting August 7 in all of its restaurants in Australia.

The new offerings include the BBQ Bacon and Crispy Onions which features a combination of 100 percent Australian beef and cheese, as well as golden crispy onions and barbecue sauce.

This particular type of burger has only been offered in Australia for the first time.

The fast-food company is also introducing a new version of its Quarter Pounder Deluxe that features a combination of cheese, tomato, and lettuce.

It can be purchased alongside the company’s other signature burgers, such as the Double and Quarter Pounder.

McDonald’s has stated that it will continue to serve its limited-edition Sweet Chilli Sauce Mozzarella Sticks throughout the winter season.

The company’s winter menu aims to add a seasonal touch to its classic Macca’s flavours by introducing new twists on the Quarter Pounder.

According to Liz Whitbread, McDonald’s Australia’s senior brand manager, the company is excited to introduce the new twists to its popular burgers and provide customers with a satisfying meal this winter.

The new items will be available in all of its restaurants across the country starting August 7.
