After being named as the Olympic torch bearer, tennis star Serena Williams criticized a high-end restaurant in Paris.

She claimed that she and her family were denied access to the restaurant’s rooftop.

In a series of posts on her Instagram, Williams said that she was disappointed with the restaurant’s empty look and that she was not allowed to eat with her kids.

Although Williams didn’t explicitly state that the restaurant was racist, her fans quickly pointed out the connection between her experience and the issue.

They told her to claim racism and get the individual fired.

A staff member of the Peninsula restaurant claimed that Williams looked disheveled when she entered the establishment with a stroller and a woman.

She said that the tables were only available for two.

According to the staff member, the client of the hotel who reserved the tables reserved them first.

The staff member said that the client, who was not identified by her, told Williams that she should wait in the bar to get a table.

The hotel responded to her Instagram post by writing that it was nothing personal and that she should have waited in the restaurant’s downstairs area.

The hotel apologized to Williams for the disappointing experience she had last night.

It noted that the restaurant’s rooftop bar was fully booked and the only seats available were those of its L’Oiseau Blanc restaurant.
