The rugby community of Perth is mourning the loss of Joseph Simpkins, who was killed in a car crash that occurred at around 1.45am on Sunday near the airport. The popular player was 28 years old.
He was the driver of a car that crashed into a concrete barrier on Tonkin Highway, about a kilometer from Dunreath Drive.
Unfortunately, Mr Simpkins could not be saved due to the injuries he sustained in the accident. The emergency services responded to the scene but were unable to save him.

Two women, aged 33 and 21, and a baby boy died when the Toyota Hilux they were riding in rolled on Mount Magnet Road at Yalgoo in the Mid West at around 10.50pm on Saturday.
