Lee Fleming, who along with her husband, Cliff, started the company known as Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, died on Monday.
The company, which started in 1968, produces the famous Ginger Beer in the city of Bundaberg, in Queensland.
In a statement, the company said that it was deeply saddened by the news.
She was a kind-hearted and passionate individual who helped the company grow and establish its famous Ginger Beer.
The entire Bundaberg Brewer’s family will miss her. In 1985, Lee and Cliff took over the company.
They then started exporting the product two decades later.
The company noted that its products have been sold in over 60 countries.
Lee and her husband lived in Bargara, which is a coastal suburb of Bundaberg.
In a 2019 interview, Lee said that she thought she would become an executive’s wife one day.
However, she never changed her mind about making soft drinks.
According to a public funeral notice, Lee is survived by her husband, four grandkids, and her two children.
