On Friday, the 66-year-old comedian shared an Instagram post about her upcoming special, which will be her last television appearance.
She also noted that it will be filmed on August 16 in Minneapolis, which will be her 16th wedding anniversary.
In her post, Ellen thanked her fans for their support and said she is lucky to be loved by one of the most amazing individuals she has ever met.
She also thanked her wife, Portia, for being her everything. A month later, she canceled several of her “comeback tour” shows without any explanation.
Due to the overwhelming response, she added more dates to the tour.
It was reported that Ellen had booked over 20 shows by the end of May. However, it was later revealed that she had canceled four of these.
In May, it was revealed that she would be presenting a stand-up special on Netflix. During this time, DeGeneres stated that she would be open to discussing the allegations that have been raised against her.
