The biggest mining town in Western Australia was shaken by a magnitude 3.8 earthquake on Monday evening.

The epicenter of the quake was around 28 kilometers from Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

It occurred at around 6.40 pm and was felt by more than 160 people.

Many of them reported feeling a “rumbling” sensation.

Some said they saw a plane flying overhead or heard a loud mining explosion.

This comes only weeks after number of earthquakes shook different parts of Australia.

Some experts say that thought its common, we could expect more quakes in the following months.
