The team of Charlotte and Maddy, who replaced Paige and Jesse on The Block, have not had the smoothest start.
Things got even worse on Tuesday when builder Zak suddenly left the show. Their tensions have been high ever since they told Scott Cam that they found him intimidating.
This week, Zak claimed that he felt ignored by the other members of the team, who would instead talk to Nathan.
When Zak pulled Charlotte aside, he told her that he was trying to have direct conversations with her, but she was disrespectful to him when she talked to Nathan instead.
Charlotte later told the cameras that she found Nathan more approachable, and he would sometimes provide her with an answer even though Zak was not always forthcoming with answers.
Zak then told her that it was rude, and he didn’t appreciate it, adding that he was already pretty over it.
Later, when Maddy joined the fight, she told him that he had been intimidating and aggressive, and he just continued to say that it was how it was.
The girls then asked if they could meet him halfway, and he told them that his behavior had not changed. Charlotte then said that it was not an apology.
Charlotte tried to talk to him, but he still didn’t feel like he was getting an answer. He then told them that they were no longer working together, and he then left the building.
He apologized to the team, and he said that the team dynamic had failed.
The girls then asked Kyal Demmrich, the royalty of The Block, to help them out, which left the other teams feeling anxious. Many of the show’s fans then criticized Zak’s behavior.
The girls didn’t care about the first two tasks, and Zak had full control over them. One of the fans said that it was because he was only interested in himself and didn’t care about the team’s goals.
Others started their own businesses due to how they were unable to work with one another.
The builder, on the other hand, was not good at communicating with the girls, who infuriated him even though they were trying to communicate with him. One person stated that they were good for standing up for their own.
