A two-car crash on the Newell Highway near the town of Tomingley in NSW killed four people. The incident happened at around 9.20 pm.

The two cars, a Toyota Hiace and a Toyota Hilux, collided and the driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital with leg injuries.

The four individuals who died were identified as two men in the ute, a woman, and a man in the van.

They were all killed at the scene.
