Jeffrey James Norris, a well-known Australian surfer, was found dead on the Gold Coast after he failed to attend his mother’s funeral.
He reportedly went on a bush walk to ‘clear his head’ before the event. His partner Brooke Stone then filed a missing persons complaint.
His body was discovered three days after he disappeared.
According to his partner, Ms. Stone, he most likely died instantly due to the injuries he suffered.
She noted that a stick had pierced his leg artery.
Although the exact cause of the death is still unclear, Ms. Stone noted that he most likely died instantly due to the injuries he suffered.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help the couple’s two-year-old son, Lucky, and Brooke. The goal of the fund is to help the family with funeral expenses.
The page noted that Jeffrey was an amazing and unique individual who will be greatly missed by his friends and family. It has already raised over $30,000.
The fundraiser, which has a target of $100,000, aims to remember him for his kindness and character.
