An elderly couple died after a truck crashed into their home in southwest Victoria on Friday morning.
Emergency services responded to reports of a truck hitting a house on the Prince Highway at Tower Hill at around 7 am.
A man and woman, both 81 years old, were killed at the scene.
The couple, who were identified as Carmel and Jim Madden, were reportedly well-known in their community.
The Portland man who was driving the truck was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The collision investigators are expected to arrive at the scene to begin their work.
In 2016, Mr Madden said that his family used to grow onions and potatoes, but they eventually decided to switch to dairy farming.
The farm has been in the family for 75 continuous years.
