Guy Sebastian, an Australian singer and songwriter, announced on his Instagram page that he would be stepping down from his position as a judge on the TV talent show The Voice.
He said that he would like to focus on touring the country and the world.
He thanked the show’s producers and the fans for their support over the years, and he said that it had been an amazing opportunity to work with some of the best coaches in the world.

Some of his fellow artists commended him for his six years of service to the show. One of them is Lachie Gill. Anthony Callea, who is a singer on the show, also praised him.
