Emergency services were called to a school in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria after a truck crashed into it at around 2.30 pm on Monday. One adult was killed and a child was injured.
The incident took place at the Riddells Creek kindergarten, which is about 60 kilometers from Melbourne’s central business district.
It’s believed that a water truck crashed into a preschool in Macedon Ranges at around 2.20 pm on Monday following a collision with a vehicle.
One adult was reportedly killed at the scene, and a child was taken to a hospital with a serious upper-body injury.
Ambulances were also sent to the scene, and residents of Riddells Creek said they heard the sirens from a nearby fire station before the vehicles drove through the road.
The main road in the area, which connects Sexton Street and Kilmore Road, was closed.
Ambulance Victoria noted that they did not have immediate information about the incident.
The police stated that they were looking into the exact circumstances that led to the fatal crash.
