After being suddenly let go from Sky News Australia, Erin Molan has broken her silence and spoken out about her departure.
And, boy, does she have a lot to say!
A Message of Gratitude and Defiance
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Erin thanked her followers for their messages of support, saying: “Wow, what a few days! I’m so grateful to everyone who has reached out and shared messages of support. You are all absolutely phenomenal. It’s meant so so much to me, so thank you, my mind is seriously blown.”
Leaving Sky News, But Not Leaving Her Passion
Erin confessed that her time at Sky News had become her “purpose, passion, and aside from my little girl, basically my entire existence.” While she’s “done” with Sky, she’s “just getting started.” And, with a hint of humor, she added: “I’m somewhat surprisingly much harder to kill off than you think.”
What’s Next for Erin Molan?
Erin revealed that she’s already received job offers from other networks, but she’s not ready to settle for a simpler life just yet. Her problem, she says, is that she cares “too much” about people and the world. With the Israel-Gaza conflict weighing heavily on her mind, she believes she needs to continue using her voice to make a difference.
Her Followers Respond with Love and Support
The responses to Erin’s message were overwhelmingly positive, with fans praising her courage and conviction. One user wrote: “Bravo Erin. And thank you. You are an essential voice in this upside-down world.” Another added: “You are a voice of reason in a very misguided world. Thank you! Don’t stop! We’re behind you!”
From Radio to TV, Erin’s Had a Wild Ride
This isn’t the first time Erin has faced a setback. Just a few months ago, her radio show with Dave Hughes and Ed Kavalee was canceled. Despite the challenges, Erin remains committed to using her platform to make a difference.
