The community is mourning the sudden death of Emily “Emmy” Finberg, a 30-year-old model from Ballina in the Northern Rivers region.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to cover funeral costs, and friends and family are coming together to celebrate her life.
A Life That Lit Up the Room
Emily was known for her infectious energy, kindness, and love for all creatures. Her friends and family describe her as a “force of nature” who made everyone feel welcome and loved.
She had a passion for animals, especially her fur baby Chopper, and cherished life, friends, and family.
A Community in Mourning
The Northern NSW community is in shock after Emily’s sudden passing. A tribute group has been set up on Facebook, where friends and family are sharing fond memories of her.
Her aunt, Aviva Finberg, remembers Emily as “the most feminine truck driver ever to grace this earth” and “the boldest, bravest person I will ever know”.
A Life of Adventure and Passion
Emily was a member of the Mullumbimby Pony Club and worked as a truck driver for cement company Boral.
Her love for life and adventure inspired those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
