A devastating accident in Adelaide’s north has claimed the life of a 29-year-old woman.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night, when the woman was hit by a garbage truck while walking on Park Tce in Salisbury.
What Happened
The accident happened around 11pm, and the woman was rushed to hospital with critical injuries.
Unfortunately, police confirmed on Friday that she had succumbed to her injuries and passed away.
The truck driver, a 35-year-old man, stopped to assist the woman after the accident and was not injured.
He is currently cooperating with the police investigation.

A pair of runners and other items of clothing were left at the scene, a poignant reminder of the tragic event.
