A devastating accident occurred on Sunday morning on the Kwinana Freeway, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old motorcyclist.
The rider, who was part of a group of motorcyclists traveling northbound towards the Roe Highway and Murdoch Drive exit, lost control of his black Harley Davidson FXD series motorcycle after clipping an island on the freeway exit.
What Happened
According to police, the accident happened around 8:45 am when the motorcyclist, who was at the back of the group, clipped the island and fell, colliding with a white Nissan Tiida hatchback that was traveling on the same exit.
The 58-year-old rider sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he sadly passed away.
