Detectives are calling for the public’s help to track the movements of Tamika Chesser, a former Beauty and the Geek contestant accused of murdering her partner, Julian Story.
The Grim Search Continues
Chesser, 34, has been charged with the murder of Story, 39, at their home in Port Lincoln, South Australia.
Story’s body was found without his head, and police believe he was killed around midnight on June 17.
Detectives are still searching for Story’s head and are asking locals to review any CCTV or dashcam footage from the time of the alleged murder.
They’ve released CCTV images of Chesser walking three dogs while dressed in a black hooded outfit.
A Life Cut Short
Julian Story was born and raised in Port Lincoln, while Tamika had only recently moved to the area. Police are still trying to determine a motive for the murder.
Story’s family have released a statement, saying they’re “navigating an unimaginable loss” and thanking the police and emergency services for their compassion and professionalism.
The Investigation Continues
Chesser has been charged with murder, disposing of human remains to pervert the course of justice, and assaulting a police officer.
She’s being held under a mental health detention order and will reappear in court in December.
