A dramatic multi-vehicle collision in Greenacre, Sydney, has left two people injured and three cars severely damaged.
The Incident
The crash occurred on Wiley Ave, Greenacre, in Sydney’s southwest, at around 12:50 am on Sunday.
One of the cars veered off the road and crashed into a house, rupturing gas and water lines.
It’s unclear if anyone was home at the time of the incident.
Injuries and Arrests
The 26-year-old female driver of a ute was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries and is currently in a stable condition. A 45-year-old man, who was driving another car, was also taken to hospital in a stable condition.
His passengers, a 37-year-old woman and three children aged 15, 13, and five, were fortunate to escape without injuries.
The driver of the third car, a 24-year-old man, was taken to St George Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.
Extensive Damage
The force of the collision was immense, causing one of the cars to veer off the road and crash into a house. All three vehicles suffered extensive damage, and debris was scattered across the road.
The exact cause of the collision is still unknown. Emergency services attended to those involved in the crash, who lined the sides of the street.
