Rosie Roche, the 20-year-old cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, died from a “traumatic head injury,” according to the Wiltshire and Swindon coroner’s report.
Rochie was found deceased in her Wiltshire home on July 14, ahead of a planned trip. Her mother, Pippa, and sister Agatha were the first to discover her body, with a firearm allegedly found nearby.
“Rosie was getting ready to go away with friends and was packing her belongings at home,” said Grant Davies, area coroner.
“Upon checking the office in the house, Agatha found Rosie deceased, and she was slumped over a firearm with significant head trauma.”
The coroner has ruled Rosie’s death as “non-suspicious and there was no third-party involvement.” Authorities have issued an appeal for public assistance in the investigation, although no further details have been released.
Rosie was a student at Durham University, pursuing an English Literature degree. She is survived by her parents, Pippa and Hugh, and sisters Archie and Agatha. The family has requested privacy during this time.
