A deadly shooting in Adelaide has claimed the life of 51-year-old Troy Jacka, whom his daughter Thalia describes as a hero who died protecting his son.
The incident occurred on Saturday night outside a residence on Stebonheath Road in Munno Para West, where Jacka was fatally shot with his own gun during an altercation.
According to authorities, Jacka and his son Jayden were ambushed by a group at the Smithfield Hotel earlier that evening, which included Jayden’s ex-girlfriend.
Thalia alleged that the group attempted to run her brother over and assaulted him with a baseball bat, breaking his arm in three places.
The investigation is ongoing, with two women and a man arrested in connection with the alleged pub attack and charged with affray.
However, they have not been charged in relation to Jacka’s death.
Thalia, who visited the crime scene, expressed her grief and determination for justice.
She stated, “Revenge is coming.
And it’s going to happen.
Either the police do it, or we’re going to do it ourselves.
It’s just how it’s going to go.”
Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact the authorities.
The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
