MasterChef alum Yanin Campos has died at the age of 38 following a fatal car accident in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Her brother confirmed her death on Facebook, stating, “We inform and mourn the death of my sister Yanin Campos.

Campos first appeared on the 2018 season of MasterChef México, finishing the competition in sixth place.
She later joined MasterChef: La Revancha in 2019.
The chef had amassed nearly 100,000 followers on TikTok, where fans have been leaving condolences on her pinned posts.
The Mexican Secretariat of Public Security is investigating the accident.
Authorities have not released further details on the cause of the crash or the current status of the investigation.
