Man Arrested in Connection with Double Homicide in Melbourne’s South-East
A 34-year-old man has been taken into custody in relation to the discovery of two deceased bodies at a residence in Melbourne’s south-east, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
The bodies of a man and woman, yet to be identified, were found at a home on Adrienne Crescent in Mount Waverley around 9:55 pm on Monday.
Heavily armed police attended the scene, which was described as a “horror scene.”
Arrest and Investigation
The suspect was apprehended at Westall Railway Station, approximately 6 kilometres from the crime scene, at around 1:40 am on Tuesday.
Victoria Police have not disclosed whether the arrested individual was known to the victims, but they are not currently pursuing any other suspects.
