Trio of Teenagers Arrested Over Alleged Assault of 14-Year-Old Girl
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly stripped and beaten by three 13-year-old girls at a bus stop in Claymore, near Campbelltown, Sydney, yesterday evening.
The incident occurred at around 7pm when the victim was approached by the trio, who police claim recorded the assault.
The 14-year-old was forced to the edge of Longstaff Way while being held at knifepoint.
Alleged Attack and Theft
The teenagers then allegedly punched and kicked the victim before forcing her to remove her clothes.
According to police, they used a phone cord to whip her while recording the ordeal.
The trio subsequently fled the scene, taking the victim’s top, pants, shoes, and phone with them.
Arrests and Charges
Police used PolAir to search for the alleged perpetrators, resulting in the arrest of three 13-year-olds in Claymore.
Their phones were seized, and the trio was taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where they were charged with various offences.
One 13-year-old was charged with aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon, producing child abuse material, and possessing child abuse material.
The other two were charged with aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon and aggravated causing a child 14 years or over to make child abuse material.
All three have been refused bail and are set to appear in children’s court today.
Police have stated that the alleged assailants were known to the victim.
