Scott Cam Clashes with ‘The Block’ Contestant Over Attitude and Accusations
In a tense confrontation on Wednesday’s episode of ‘The Block’, host Scott Cam admonished a contestant, urging her to “readjust her attitude” towards the show’s cast and crew.
The incident followed a dispute between Western Australian contestant Han and the show’s foreman, Dan, over an unapproved change to her floor plan.
Han had previously accused Dan of creating problems “for the camera” and claimed the entire situation was a setup.
Cam Addresses Accusations
During his weekly walkaround with Shelley Craft, Cam addressed Han’s allegations, stressing that the show never intentionally sets contestants up to fail.
“We never stitch you up.
We help you along the way, and we’ve always helped you along the way,” he asserted.
Cam also cautioned Han against making decisions that could affect her build, advising her to rely on professionals rather than taking matters into her own hands.
He concluded by requesting that she “readjust her attitude” towards the crew, Dan, and himself.
Han responded with a terse “Yeah.
Heard,” but later expressed her feelings to the cameras, stating that she didn’t believe she needed an attitude adjustment and that the episode had been “unfair” to her.
Apologetic Conclusion
In a subsequent one-on-one chat with Cam, Han apologized for any misunderstandings and assured him that she had never intended to break the show’s rules.
Cam accepted her apology, and the pair agreed to move forward, bringing a positive conclusion to the clash.
