Western Australia: Woman Dies Following Incident at Perth Home, Man Cooperating with Police
A woman in her 30s has died after being discovered with critical injuries at a suburban home in northeast Perth, with a man in his 20s currently assisting police with their inquiries.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 12:30pm, when police were called to a residence on Reid Street in Bassendean following reports of a serious incident.
Investigation Underway
Police found the woman with critical injuries at the scene and transported her to Royal Perth Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
A man, believed to be known to the victim, is cooperating with police and providing information to assist with their investigation.
Neighbour Recounts Incident
A local resident reported hearing a raised male voice around the time of the incident, followed by loud banging noises.
The neighbour, who was expecting a visitor, answered the door to find two police officers, marking the beginning of the investigation.
