Two Women Found Dead at Popular Seaside Spots in Victoria and NSW
In a disturbing weekend for Australian coastal communities, two women were discovered dead at major seaside locations in Victoria and New South Wales, leaving residents horrified.
The first incident occurred at St Kilda Pier in Victoria on Sunday morning, where a dogwalker stumbled upon the body of an unidentified woman at 7:30 am.
Emergency services received multiple calls from concerned residents, and police have since launched an investigation into the incident.
Victoria Investigation Underway
Police have established a major crime scene at the pier, with homicide squad detectives scouring the foreshore and collecting evidence.
A blue SES tent was set up to conceal the body, and police maintained a heavy presence at the marina.
The cause of death remains unknown, and authorities are yet to identify the woman.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner’s information.
Second Incident in NSW
In a similar incident, a 32-year-old woman was found dead at Ten Mile Beach in northern NSW on Saturday morning.
Members of the public discovered the body at 10 am, and police attended the scene shortly after.
Police have established a crime scene at the remote beach and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, which remains unclear.
A report will also be prepared for the Coroner’s information.
