Former tennis star Anna Kournikova is reportedly pregnant with her fourth child, just months after a health scare that sparked concerns for her wellbeing.
The 44-year-old Russian athlete, who has kept a low profile since retiring from tennis in 2003, is said to be halfway through her pregnancy, according to sources close to the family.
Kournikova’s latest pregnancy comes after she was spotted in a wheelchair earlier this year, sparking fears for her health.
However, she has since made a full recovery and was seen taking her children to a martial arts class in South Florida earlier this month.
Private Life and Career
Kournikova, once voted the world’s sexiest woman, has kept her family and personal life largely out of the public eye since retiring from professional tennis.
During her career, she won 16 titles in doubles and reached the world number one ranking after winning the Australian Open alongside Martina Hingis in 1999.
She started dating singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias in 2001 after appearing in his music video for ‘Escape’.
The couple already has three children together – twins Lucy and Nicholas, seven, and five-year-old Mary.
A Private but Glamorous Life
Kournikova has rarely been seen in public since her retirement from tennis, despite being recognised as the sexiest female tennis player of all time in 2010.
Her pop star husband, Enrique Iglesias, continues to perform to packed stadiums, but fans are rarely granted a glimpse of the reclusive tennis icon.
