- Body of 33-year-old Jayden Selfe found in bushland after extensive police search
- Three charged with murder: Jessica Ann Walker, 39, Jonathon Allen Donaldson, 42, and Beng Seng Soo, 40
- Trio accused of killing Mr Selfe, who was last seen in early May, made no application for bail
Police have cracked the case of missing Perth man Jayden Selfe, 33, whose body was found in bushland north-east of Wanneroo. Three people have been charged with his murder, and the court hearing was a dramatic and emotional affair.
Jessica Ann Walker, 39, Jonathon Allen Donaldson, 42, and Beng Seng Soo, 40, faced Perth Magistrates Court on Monday, accused of killing Mr Selfe. The trio spoke only to confirm their names and did not apply for bail.
Walker, visibly shaken, cried quietly and hugged her chest as the charge was read to her. Her co-accused showed no emotion.
Mr Selfe’s body was found after an extensive search, including at a residential property on Money Road in Attadale and bushland at a property on Old Yanchep Road in Nowergup, about 60 kilometres north of the Attadale address.
Police had been investigating the “suspicious disappearance” of Mr Selfe, who was last in contact with people known to him in early to mid-May this year. Investigators had grave concerns for his welfare, and their worst fears were confirmed when his body was found.
The three accused have been remanded in custody and are due to appear in court again next month.
